PTI beads challenge

I used one of the paper beads for a homemade embellishment!!

Thanks for all the fun PTI!!

PTI card set challenge

Love, love, love this technique from Betsy!!!

Paper Bead Challenge

I made a bookmark with my beads!!

PTI Mini book challenge

Here's my mini book. Did not want to add anything until I decide what pics to use. Love the envelopes though!!

Homemade Embellies Challenge

Another great challenge was the homemade embellishments. You can find it here:
http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/capture_the_moment/

I die cut Beautiful Butterflies, stamped them with my fav set right now by Heather Nichols,
BB:Postmarks. Brushed on some Tattered Angels glam(onto blooms). Adhered the butterflies and finished them off with some bling(rhinestones, pearls and stickles)

PTI Stamp Camp Challenges

In this challenge, Betsy made flowers with ribbon and singed the ends with a candle flame. Another cool technique. I have no idea where they come up with these!!

You can find all these challenges here:

PTI Stamp Camp Challenge

This was another tye dye challenge and the marbled look was awesome. My daughter really enjoyed this one!! I also used the ribbon technique challenge for this card as well. Just knotted the ribbon for the butterfly bodies and split the top portion of the ribbon.

PTI Stamp Camp Challenge

I made this card for the tie dye challenge, it was so much fun!!  We used copics to draw the circles and then rubbing alcohol as a bleached out tye die look. It seems like everyone does such colorful designs I wanted to try earthy tones.  The challenges can be found here:
http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/capture_the_moment/

PTI Stamp Camp Challenge

This card I made for the Limited supplies challenge. We had certain colors and embellies and 1 stamp set we could use. Oh what fun!!!

Vagabond: what a machine!!

So, it had been a while since we each had used an impression plate in the vagabond and I don't think
I'll ever do that again!! We pounded and pulled and managed to sweat off a couple pounds. We did finally get that sucker through. A couple new cutting pads and it works like new!  Thanks for making
it tough Tim!!!!     Had lots of fun at Stamp Camp!  Thanks to all the ladies at PTI that put this event together!! And thanks for sharing the day with me Laurie!

Introducing Jade

So, this is our new Boston Terrier puppy named Jade. She is just over two pounds and almost 10 weeks old.  She is so tiny in comparison to Scarlett. Here are a few pictures but I haven't gone nuts with the camera yet.

Jade chewing on "lemon doggy"

And I was worried they may not get along. Scarlett is in the foreground and Jade is in the background. This is their first day together!  My mind is at ease, Scarlett is showing her motherly instincts!!  Thank goodness.

                                                           Congratulations Adam!!!!
It's been a while since I participated in MIM on aregular basis and I'm trying to get back to it
every week. You can find the challenge here:
http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/capture_the_moment/
The challenge was to stamp on patterned paper. I needed to make a graduation card and I knew I wanted to use the basic white paper pack by Basic Grey so I used the lined notebook page and stamped on that with the only Graduation stamp set I have by Hampton Arts.

PTI supplies:
Scarlett Jewel CS, Border ticket Die, Mat Stack #4 Collection stamp set(star), On the inside for the sentiment I used Simple Sentiments and Celebrations for the gift card holder(used die) I stuck on the inside.

Overall I was quite happy with the school colors and outcome of the card. Thanks for stopping!!!
