Make It Monday #58: Graduated Backgrounds

I made this card for a very well deserving candidate, Mr Dan Franklin of the Buffalo Club. He was awarded Manager of the Year for 2011. Had a great time tonight at Oak Hill CC in Rochester NY.  Good food, good friends and lots of great memories.

As for the card I decided to take a shot at the MIM challenge over at Papertrey Ink. We were challenged to make our background with water and refill inkers or copics. Since I don't own any copics I chose the inkers. I did enjoy playing around a bit and was happy with the results.

Supplies: Celebrate Stamp Set and die. Rustic cream CS, Chocolate CS, Bitty Box PP,
Tim Holtz reinkers, star brads and that's about it.
