Thanks- Simon Says Stamp

Simon Wednesday Challenge Blog
I wanted to play along this week over at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.
The challenge this week is "add a little texture".

I was quite anxious this week as I waited for my MISTI to arrive
from SSS.  I seriously thought my mail carrier decided to take it home
and get all inky herself when it didn't show up as expected. I guess she
was instructed to stop delivering mail, as she was running late, and she never
delivered any packages! Ugh! Do they have any idea what that does to us??

I received my MISTI the next day, thankfully.  So, anyway, I made this card,
to thank the fabulous people at Simon Says Stamp. They seem to be a
wonderful group of people. I met a few them last
year at Simon Says Create.  So here is the card:

 I LOVE Simon!
His crown is all glittered but I couldn't capture it.

I am also entering this in this weeks Make it Monday: Cover Plate
Stencils and embossing Paste over at Papertrey Ink.

PTI Supplies: Limitless Layers:Hearts and Stitched Hearts, Quatrefoil
Cover plate, Dearest Jane PP, Dark Chocolate & Rustic Cream CS, Vintage Cream ink.

Simon Says Stamp Supplies:Stylish Simon Stamps & die,
Banner Sayings & Folded Banner die.

Other Supplies: Ranger Texture Paste, Tim Holtz distress Ink in
Vintage Photo, Antique linen & Old Paper, Ranger Archival Ink in Coffee,
Wendi Vecchi Translucent EP, Water brush, Glossy Accents and a Sharpie pen.

Top Dog Dies: Photo Props and MISTI TOOL!

Have a great day!!!

I made a shaker ornament of sorts for some swim friends of my daughter's and wanted to give it on a card. So, here is the finished result:

Hey Chickie!!

So, I saw a card a while back made by Shari Carroll. I looked for it but could not find it, otherwise,
I'd link it up.  It was the inspiration for my card. I fell in love with these Chubby Chums by Paper Smooches and had to get them. I've got to get the dies next! I'm already tired of fussy cutting them!

Anyway, this card is for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge "All Creatures Great and Small".   I usually don't mask things just because it's a longer process but always well worth it. I love to peel away the mask and see the fabulous outcome!  This little one even made me chuckle when I was done.  I just love this Chubby Chums set, they make me happy!!

Not sure why the glossy accents left bubbles-never had that happen before!

Supplies: Chubby Chums and Healthy Vibes by Paper Smooches, An assortment of Tim Holtz Distress Ink. Memento Ink, Papertrey Woodgrain Impression Plate(Note to self: put woodgrain stamp on wishlist!) Glossy Accents, Spectrun Noir markers.

Papertrey Ink Anniversary Day 4: Build a Bouquet Challenge

Another Papertrey Ink Anniversary Challenge. We had to use more than one stamp set to create a bouquet. I'd say that mine is more a field of flowers!!

I hadn't planned this card out, it kind of came together as I went along. I used PTI's Butterfly Kisses, Garden Variety and Reasons To Smile.  A big assortment of PTI inks and a few die cut fences.

Have a great day!!

Papertrey Ink Anniversary Day 5: Spring into Action

For the day five challenge over at Papertrey Ink, we had to use a stamp set that had not been inked up yet. I just got the Layered Banner Banter Set and I needed to make a masculine birthday card so I figured I could make that work. I really love the banner. It's large enough that you can use it as the focal point and you don't really need to add anything else if you don't want.

So, here it is:
So, I think I have one more to do and I will have to find some other challenges to do to keep me busy! This has helped pass the time quite quickly today!!   See you real soon!

Papertrey Ink Anniversary Challenge Day 2: Maile Inspiration

I was quite excited to do this challenge for the Papertrey Ink 8th Anniversary Festivities. I am always inspired by Maile Belles. She is fabulous and definately clean and simple, just love her style!

So, I lifted this card and came up with this:

I am loving this Big Hugs Stamp Set!  Off to do a couple more challenges and I should be done for today. Thanks for stopping by today!

Papertrey Ink Anniversary Callenge Day 3: Bagged + Tagged

Papertrey Ink Anniversay Festivities: This is for Day 3. You can find all the challenges here.

So, I started this as a challenge for another day(ink a stamp that has not been previously inked) but it worked out perfect for the Bagged + Tagged Challenge so here it is:

I used my new Hey, Cupcake Stamp Set. Loved it. Fussy cut and all!   Off to do another card!

Papertrey Ink Anniversary Challenge Day 7: Heavy Metal

We were challenged to use metallics and nuetrals today.  Here is a simple masculine birthday card. It seems that I am always in need of these on short notice and I never have enough in my stash!! You can find the challenge here!

Well, The happy is cut from a silver metallic paper and birthday is embossed in white. I can see now that they look just about the same! Too much light perhaps. Sorry.  Have a super day!!

PTI Supplies: One liners:Happy Die, Wonderful Words Additions Stamps. Smoky Shadow CS, Stampers Select White CS, Linen?Canvas Impression Plate.

Jen

Papertrrey Ink Anniversary Day 8 Challenge: Blue Ombre

I needed to get a little springy. The weather has not let up. Cold, snowy and for the most part very dreary here in Buffalo. No school for the kids today due to the negative temps and wind chill. I am staying put, that's for sure.

So, I decided to go very simple but cheery. Blue Ombre was the requirement for this challenge.

Any questions? Don't hesitate to ask!! Have a great day!
