Thanks- Simon Says Stamp

Simon Wednesday Challenge Blog
I wanted to play along this week over at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.
The challenge this week is "add a little texture".

I was quite anxious this week as I waited for my MISTI to arrive
from SSS.  I seriously thought my mail carrier decided to take it home
and get all inky herself when it didn't show up as expected. I guess she
was instructed to stop delivering mail, as she was running late, and she never
delivered any packages! Ugh! Do they have any idea what that does to us??

I received my MISTI the next day, thankfully.  So, anyway, I made this card,
to thank the fabulous people at Simon Says Stamp. They seem to be a
wonderful group of people. I met a few them last
year at Simon Says Create.  So here is the card:

 I LOVE Simon!
His crown is all glittered but I couldn't capture it.

I am also entering this in this weeks Make it Monday: Cover Plate
Stencils and embossing Paste over at Papertrey Ink.

PTI Supplies: Limitless Layers:Hearts and Stitched Hearts, Quatrefoil
Cover plate, Dearest Jane PP, Dark Chocolate & Rustic Cream CS, Vintage Cream ink.

Simon Says Stamp Supplies:Stylish Simon Stamps & die,
Banner Sayings & Folded Banner die.

Other Supplies: Ranger Texture Paste, Tim Holtz distress Ink in
Vintage Photo, Antique linen & Old Paper, Ranger Archival Ink in Coffee,
Wendi Vecchi Translucent EP, Water brush, Glossy Accents and a Sharpie pen.

Top Dog Dies: Photo Props and MISTI TOOL!

Have a great day!!!

January 2014 Papertrey Blog Hop

The Challenge:
Nichole challenged us this month to use pink with the option to use neutrals but I stuck mostly to pink.
You can find the challenge here:

And here is my card:

Another birthday card for my stash. This also fulfills the requirements for this weeks MIM that you can find here. Heather showed us how to glitter embellishments. What Glittery fun, I must add!!

We were in Rochester this weekend for a swim meet so I didn't know if I'd get a chance to participate. The weather was rotten driving home so I was happy to get here safely. My DD did awesome and beat all here times. She cut 23 seconds off her 100 Fly!! I am so proud of her.

Anyway, hope you all have a great week!!

You Make Me SMILE

I'm having a ball over at The Play Date Cafe. Please come and join us! There's still a whole day left to celebrate and add YOUR projects!!  I wanted to do a CAS(clean and Simple) card but it did not
turn out exactly as I planned. Oh well, that happens I guess!!  I incorporated the Make It Monday into my card by die cutting letters out of fun foam and using them as stamps just like Heather showed us on the video. A little challenging stamping them. Rather than use bottle caps like Heather suggests I used Perfect Pearls and other little jars of stuff I had on hand.  I don't need to add another item to my small crafting abode!!  Thanks for looking!!
