I wasn't going to participate today because I had quite a few things to do but after looking at a few houses,
I was inspired. I wanted to use what I had instead of the pattern Nichole gave us.
So, this is what I ended up with: Not a great picture but you get the idea. It's not as dark and gloomy as it looks. I used the Mat Stack 1 die and the favor it box. I also used the Homemade Stamp set. The snow is flower soft. A blingy wreath above the door with tiny pearl knobs. Stickles in the windows.
I also used a Tim Holtz texture fades folder for some extra texture for the roof. Any other questions, please ask!
What a fun little house!! Love the interesting shape and the flower soft is perfect!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a DARLING little house! Great design!
ReplyDeleteLove the FUN sunbathing photo of your precious pups.
Oh, my, Jennifer, your little mushroom house is so enchanting!! Love the doggies enjoying the sun, too! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! I hope you don't get battered by the storm they are forecasting. Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteLove your different shaped house and all the texture you added! I really like your windows too! :0) Also, the picture of your 2 dogs sunbathing is priceless...made me smile! :0)
ReplyDeleteOh, I love your house -- what a great idea to use those dies!
ReplyDeleteBoy were your creative juices flowing when you were figuring out which PTI sets to use. This is just so clever! I looked at 'Home Made', but didn't see the potential of the cut apart windows, to fit with this tiny scale. And I love the field stone house. You did a great job making the stones fit the shape of your house. The snow is the perfect addition that says, "Snug as a bug.".
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing, and may your holidays be full of warm memories.
Looks like a fun house to make..so glad you decided to join in, Jennifer. Great idea with these dies , I'll have to try some different style houses for my village ;-)
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely creation! I love the picture of you doggies sunbathing too, I wish my puppy would do that, mine seems to be so full of energy, I can't even get him to stop moving for a minute!
