Papertrey July Blog Hop Challenge

It's that time again, for the Papertrey Ink Blog Hop, always on the 25th of the month. Here is the gorgeous inspiration photo below. I was inspired by so many things in this photo:

The-Challenge

July Blog Hop Inspiration

And here is the tag I created:

I started by using the technique that Heather showed us for the MIM challenge this week. No outline Watercolor. It was neat but I should have taken a picture of the tag prior to embellishing it so you could see all the results since most everything is covered! You can see a few of the clouds peeking through but, I did love the technique, Thanks Heather!!

I loved that doily so I decided to make my own and go vintage with the tea dye duo.

I used a little washi tape, a bird that I painted up with a Wink of Stella. The assorted clouds were paper and some shelf liner for some added texture.(Cuts great too!!)

Tiny Tags Die cut heart, a bit of twine and that's about all. I used a variety of inks including: Tumbled Glass, Iced Spruce Distress inks.

Pure Poppy and Spring Rain and the Tea Dye Duo from PTI.

Enjoy the hop and have fun. Thanks for all the sweet comments and feedback!!
