I ended up using one of the Phrase Play Dies(the one with Enjoy, # 4 I think),

Tipped Tops Happy Die and then on the bottom section I used the Slide Frame 

Die so I'd have a window of sorts. I also used Petite Pots and Dies and Birthday 

Classics: April, for the "Easter" stamp.  Lemon Tart, Hawaiian Shores and White CS.

Hawaiian Shores, Lavender Moon, New Leaf and a variety of distress Inks for my BG.

Happy Friday with AAA cards: Watercolor Rain

                 Today I am sharing a card I made for AAA Cards: Game #34 Watercolor Rain

What a great photo!! I got an idea and you know how that goes. You just gotta make it happen

no matter what. I really needed a rain drop stencil, cover plate or stamp. I had none

of those, believe it or not, so I found a small geotag die that I was able to work with to make

a rain drop die cut piece of paper. The graph paper really helped! I just put it on top of my cardstock.

After I finished this, I really wanted a rainbow effect of sorts showing through the raindrops.

 Now, I NEVER, EVER, would have tried this without

my MISTI. It would have been a failed task for sure, but with my MISTI, a piece of cake!!
I used A dotted line from an old Hot Off The Press Stamp Set and kept stamping and changing colors while I shifted my paper about 1/16 of an inch!! Fun, fun, fun!!!!!

I then, clear embossed the entire page instead of trying to just emboss the raindrops.

And here is the final result after adding my clouds, sentiment and blue cardstock.

                          I am also entering Virginia's View Challenge #13 All Things Embossed

                                On the angle you can see the embossing a little better.

Embossing with Distress inks and Perfect Pearls Mist-Thanks card

I was blog hopping today and I came across AAA Cards blog which looked like fun.  I love the CAS style but sometimes find it difficult to stay CAS!

I decided to play along with watercolor techniques.

Game #10 on AAA cards is PLAY with watercolour techniques.

Hannelie inspired me with her technique that I have done before but don't use enough!

I used PTI Berry Sorbet CS for my card base. Watercolor paper embossed with Worn Lipstick, Ripe Persimmon, and Mustard Seed Distress ink that I spritzed with Sunflower Sparkle Perfect Pearls Mist before embossing it in the Sizzix folder.  Loved the outcome. Then used a wooden heart embellie and a stray thanks cut I had in my stash and covered it with glossy accents!!  That's it for now. Please stop again!!
