At last I can participate again. I had major issues while I was away. I think it was mostly the computer I was using. I am back at home once again in the freezing cold but I am very happy to be in my own bed with my own pillow. It's amazing how a pillow can cause such havoc on your body!! Then again, maybe that's just me. Anyway, on to the card. I already sent my Valentines out so they could be stamped by the PO in Loveland Co with a special love poem but I did make another to give on this "Lovely" day for a sweetie of mine. I included the Pure Poppy striped PP for the challenge.
Here we go:
I die cut the letters in white and then stamped them with BB: Super Stripes. Adhered them on some scraps of paper I had. So nice to have found the small strip of red glitter paper! I punched the one end with a fiskars punch . Die cut the heart in the middle with a THoltz die and adhered a glittery heart. Then adhered it all to a piece of Pure Poppy stripe paper and onto a white card base.
That's all for now.

Papertrey Ink's 7th Anniversary Celebration
So my post today is to celebrate PTI and it's 7th Anniversary. The challenge was to make a birthday card. I am still away from 98% of my crafting supplies but I still managed to make a card and here I am with it! Rather than bother everyone watching the Olympics, I just did the best I could taking a selfie with my camera, not the best, but it'll do!
Have fun everyone!!

PTI 7th Anniversary Challenge #1
Another year has gone by and another exciting 10 days over at Papertrey Ink to celebrate their 7th Anniversary Why not join in on the fun. I already whipped up a card. With limited supplies, it's amazing how quickly they come together. I guess I should limit myself more often. Lol!
I chose the first color card and the card sketch with the doily. Here it is:
I used a wine coaster and some kite string. Amazing what you can find when you have no supplies!!
Other supplies: Signature Greetings, Terracotta Tile CS, Harvest gold and Terracotta tile inks. Misc die I had pre-cut with the one of the PTI doily collections in a harvest gold like color. That's all for now. TTFN

Make it Monday # 151: Drop Shadow Die Cuts
Take two for the MIM challenge this week.
This card is for a dear friend and her sweet cat Sassy that is in a better place today.(Close your eyes Jen.) A CAS design since I am very limited with supplies. I used Limitles Layers circles and cut the center out of the top one to use like a frame and also a shadow die underneath. A little off center like Betsy showed us(on the video I linked above), although it's hard to tell from this photo.
Now let's get ready for all the Anniversary Festivities!!!! Woo Hoo, hope to be popping in here and there throughout the week!! Have fun everyone!

Make it Monday # 151: Drop Shadow Die Cuts
Ok, so this week I will be working with the bare essentials. I really wanted to participate in the MIM because I actually had a couple things I could use for this challenge with me. We are talking very basic so my creations will not be overly embellished but first a picture of the beach, weather is beautiful today!!!
Daytona Beach
And here is my simple card:
I had grabbed a bunch(handful) of pre-cut dies I had, Cardstock and a few stamp sets. About 5 different color ink pads, a little adhesive and that's about all. I will use what I can dig up from my Mom for whatever else I need. Luckily I found mounting squares in her junk drawer that I was able to use for my foam adhesive. That's all for now. Happy Day!

Niagara IMX-Webster
So, this is what kept me busy this weekend. As long as I did this correctly you can watch my DD take 24 seconds off her previous time doing the 100 Fly. Ok, so I missed her start but at least the video won't get you too sick. Lane 7-heat winner. Way to go Kim!!!(Maybe you couldn't be there Mom but at least you can watch her once in a while if I figure this out!!)
