Papertrey October Blog Hop Challenge

Today is the big day of the month for the Papertrey Blog Hop. It's always on the 25th of the month,
why not create something and join us!!

My inspiration came from the first Holiday Color Recipe card:

I just love these colors together and when I saw those beautiful ornaments,I knew

exactly what I wanted to create.  It was just a matter of when. I put it off until today and my

daughter had a swim meet. So, when I got home, I went to work.  Here's what I came

up with today. Pretty much how I had pictured it. What do you think?? I thought about embossing some circles around the image but I didn't want to take the chance that I wouldn't like it!

February Blog Hop and MIM-one last card

For my last card for today I used the brush stroke technique Dawn shows us on the MIM Video.

I then stamped in L'Amore Palette ink for the flowers and sentiment and heat embossed them. I love the contrast that the green and red have. I never put them together because I usually think of Christmas
but so not the case here-SPRING is coming!!   That is the challenge over at PTI today-Sweet Spring

       
So, here is my card. I did some second generation stamping but I don't like it, I think it looks more like a mistake than the effect I was going for, Oh well!!
