Papertrey Ink Anniversary challenge

Here is my second card with envelope entry:

I found an old download(I think from last years' Annivesary) and used it. All supplies are PTI except 

the embossing folder which I think is Sizzix.

PTI Anniv. Challenge

So, I woke up in the middle of the night to realize I forgot to post my cards with matching envelope!

All Supplies are PTI with the exception of the ribbon and rhinestones. Have a great day!!

PTI Anniversary Challenge: Building Blocks

Here is my second card I made using the same colors that came up by the roll of the die. I decided to try another technique with inlaid die cuts. Well, I liked the card better without the die in so I kept it out.
Meke sense?
  I used Melon Berry CS as a card base and a strip of Spring Rain that I die cut the thank you from. I stamped in Dk Choc, Melon Berry and Spring Rain in a variety of ways with a Flower Fusion Flower. I decided to leave the twine out. Hope you like it!

Papertrey Ink Anniversary Challenge: Building Blocks

So, the challenge today over at Papertrey Ink as stated by Nichole is below

We are SUPER excited to present our *Building Blocks* of Design Challenge!!!  Each Design Team member has a basic "building block" options list for card making to share with you on their individual blogs.  The intent is for you to visit each blog and collect all of the building blocks necessary to create a beautiful card. 

 

Each team member has six numbered selections for a specific *Building Block* category.  Roll a die or use a random number generator to select which item number you will need to work with from their list.  If you do not have the supplies for the item you end up with, feel free to roll again.  Collect nine item selections total, one from each team member, and get to work creating your masterpiece! 

I rolled my die and came up with:  Dark Chocolate, Melon Berry, Fine Linen and Spring Rain for colors. Then Generation Stamping for a technique and I choose not to use the embellishments. I used the tipped card sketch. Oh yeah, the type of card I rolled was a friend card and I chose not to put "friend" below the hello like I originally planned.

I used Fine linen, Spring Rain and Dark Chocolate CS, Melon Berry and Dark Chocolate ink.  The hello die in white and stamped it in Melon Berry and used a dark chocolate die for a shadow. I also used a hero arts stamp for the background. 

This put me out of my box for sure!!

Papertrey Ink Anniversary: Day 7

I have one more post for tonight. A simple tag for anything but I made it for a mini book. Just a little insert. Here it is:

I tried to capture the glittery stickles with no success. I used the Half & Half die and cut it from the Pure Poppy PP. Punched the edge to look like a notebook page. Stamped a couple Hampton Arts stamps, covered with stickles and that was it. that's all for tonight!!  See ya tomorrow!!

PTI 7th Anniversary Challenge

So, I was able to make a couple more entries for tonight. Another card, for my daughter's teacher on Friday.  I wanted it to have Valentine colors but didn't want to go with hearts so here's what I came up with:

I found this scrap piece of paper that was originally from a Christmas stack I think. Die cut one of the PTI Detail Doilys' out and rotated it. Adhered the negative paper with foamy tape. Punched out another circle from Sweet Blush for the center and stamped it with BB:Super Stripes in Sweet Blush ink. Added the teacher die that was cut from PTI pp. And then added my clear acrylic flower that was inked with some Palette ink and stamped with #1 from WW:Teacher(mini set), and heated to curl. I then added a white circle behind it so the #1 would pop. That does it!

Papertrey Ink Anniversary Challenge: Take Two

This is just a quick post of a bag that I decorated to amp it up just a bit for Valentine's Day on Friday.

I used the Pure Poppy stripe again but I didn't want to adorn it too much because I didn't want it to look too feminine. I will fill this with a nice little treat, for someone really sweet!    Ok- a bit corny I know...   C-ya later!
